    Universal Trampoline Enclosure System
12/20/2010 We all know how fun trampolines can be but it is every parents nightmare for their kid to wind up in the emergency room because they went flying off of trampoline. Brilliant inventors had a wonderful idea of putting a net around the trampoline so that users would stay inside the net and never again would anyone fly off the trampoline. Well with the invention of the net, there have been many advances over the years and the designs just get better and better. Nets have seen better materials, new pole configurations, new ways the nets attach to poles, and new ways poles attach to the trampolines. We are proud to annoucne we now have the latest and greatest best designed enclosure system available on the market today. The newest designs include poles which actually go into the legs of the trampolines, these are very safe and stable, but would require very specific poles, and of course you would have to have a frame and legs which would be compatible, so it wouldn't be practical for us to sell this as a seperate product, and certainly couldn't be universal. We have spent millions of dollars to work with a team of top level engineers from Harvard university to design the worlds best trampoline enclosure system. This enclosure system has the best pole configuration, the best net material, the best net design, and is currently on sale for onyl $169, which includes free shipping. We have just got in our brand new universal trampoline enclosure system. This is a UNIVERSAL enclosure system, which means that it can be installed on any trampoline, any brand of trampoline can use this enclosure system. This enclosure system has the option of being compatible with any round trampoline, we have available 12 foot enclosure systems, 13 foot enclosure systems, 14 foot enclosure systems, and 15 foot enclosure systems. This net is designed similar to the new design of the Skywalker enclosures, which have straight curved poles, and the netting ties into the v-rings of the trampoline, which puts it inside of the springs, making it safer than enclosure systems that go outside of the frame. This is the safest enclosure system available. This enclosure system doesn't use cheap bungee cords or straps to attach the net to the poles, this has bolts that go through the straps and the poles, making it super safe and secure at the top and the bottom. This enclosure system comes complete with netting, poles, tightening cords, FREE SHIPPING and is on sale right now for only $169. Get your universal enclosure system today from TrampolinePartsCenter.com.

Different Sizes of Trampolines - How to Decide
October 11, 2010 Trampolines are an ideal recreational tool for families that can provide hours of fun and fitness for all ages. When it comes to buying a trampoline for the backyard, one of the things to consider is size. Different sizes of trampolines are available and there are several factors to take into consideration when trying to decide which one suits the family. One of the first things to think about when gearing up to buy a trampoline is the size of the yard. Installing a trampoline requires at the very minimum about three feet of clear space on all sides. This clear space is to be sure there is plenty of room for jumpers to get on and off the equipment without harming themselves or others in the process. More space may be required if you have a square trampoline such as Skywalker trampolines. Ideally, 10 feet on all sides would be good but many families have smaller yard spaces these days, in which case 3 feet will suffice. The ages and sizes of the bouncing toy users is another point to consider. If smaller children are the primary jumpers on the trampoline, an 8-foot model would work but a 10-foot model will leave a bit of room for growth along the way. Both 8 and 10-foot models are designed for only one jumper at time. There is not enough room for more than one to jump safely. If teenagers or older children are the most frequent bouncers in mind, then the different sizes of trampolines should be ignored and the 12-foot model be seen as the only option. This model is large enough for teenagers to enjoy jumping fun and has enough room to hold more than one bouncer at a time, although this is frowned upon in the guidelines. Trampoline are great, all-around family fun that can also be used more formally as athletic training in various ways. For such training, a larger trampoline is ideal to give plenty of room for practicing routines in such sports as gymnastics or cheerleading. Not only in the case of space to practice routines, but the larger trampolines such as 12-foot models and up also have a larger maximum weight limit. More elaborate or intensive practices result in great impact to the bounce surface. This is yet again a case where the different sizes of trampolines available should be narrowed down to only the largest. Before buying and installing a trampoline for the family, it is a smart move to consider the different sizes of trampolines available. The trampoline chosen will need to accommodate several considerations such as sizes and ages of the prospective jumpers, the size of the yard space available and the purposes for which the equipment will be used the most.

Trampolines with Springs versus Trampolines with Bands – Which Way to Go?
10/8/2010 Shopping for a trampoline to add to the family fun can be simultaneously fun and frustrating. Take the frustrating element out by learning about what to look for in trampolines before embarking upon actually shopping. One of the major things to consider would be trampolines with springs versus band mat trampolinesh bands. Which is better for bouncing? Which is safer for kids? These are the questions to answer. The most widely available trampoline style in the United States is the trampoline with springs version. It is important to ensure the springs are properly attached to the hooks upon installation. After that, careful maintenance is paramount to ensure the trampoline springs do not rust or corrode. If ever any red, rusty looking substance is present, this indicates rust and it is time to replace the springs. The same holds true for the presence of a whitish looking powdery substance, for this indicates corrosion and the springs need prompt replacement. The springs are the essence of trampolines. Trampoline springs hold the weight of the jumpers and are ultimately what keeps them safe. Trampolines with springs versus trampolines with bands is an argument not encountered very often in the United States. Most of the trampolines that are readily available in the United States are the spring version. However, band versions can be ordered easily online. Trampolines with bands are much more common in countries such as Australia and England. The bands for trampolines are typically strong enough at the start of installing and jumping on the equipment. They do not have the history of holding up nearly as long as springs, however. Bands tend to stretch over time and do not have the sturdiness of springs in snapping back into place nearly as easily. While springs do need to be replaced eventually, it typically takes a lot of use before that happens. There are safety issues that worry some parents of young children when it comes to trampolines with springs. The worries of fingers and other body parts being pinches are diminished greatly when the trampoline is made up of bands instead of springs. Pinching is still possible, but much less likely. The decision must rest with the individual family in how the trampoline will be used and how long they expect the equipment to hold up. Price is not something to battle about when it comes to trampolines with springs versus trampolines with bands because these two types of trampolines tend to run very similar in price. The only exception comes about when ordering the trampoline and having it shipped. A trampoline with bands is lighter than one with springs and therefore ships at a cheaper rate. Trampolines with springs versus trampolines with bands is a subject that, as it is with many things, just depends on the needs of the family. Fitness and fun with a trampoline is a great way to spend family time and energy together.

The History of Trampolines in the Olympics
    Wednesday, September 29, 2010
Trampolines in the Olympics - Bouncing for Medals Trampolines have been a favorite of children and families for quite some time now. In addition to the pure fun enjoyed by all, there are a variety of trampoline related competitive sports that have come along as a result of this enjoyment of trampolines. Sports such as Slamball, which is a variation of basketball, have evolved as the popularity of trampolines has grown. Bossaball, which is modifications on volleyball, is included in that genre as well. Trampolines in the Olympics are now used in an actual sport called trampolining, a fairly new game, having only been present since the year 2000. Not only are trampolines a great resource for exercising and body conditioning, but the jumping activities can be tailored to specific muscles and body movements. This makes bouncing in certain ways an ideal exercise venue for Olympic athletes. Specific exercises can be devised and the training can begin in earnest. Trampolines in the Olympics have gained a place in the competitive games beginning with the year 2000. In this type of competitive trampolining, a capable and experienced athlete can bounce over 32 feet in the air. In competing, this bouncing act is accompanied by a series of complex and fascinating twists, flips and somersaults. There are few sports as breath-taking or amazing to witness. In training for other Olympic sports besides trampolining itself, trampolines have been used as cross-trainers for gymnasts, divers and freestyle skiers. Because jumping on the trampoline provides so much in the way of gaining flexibility and coordination, yet is a low-impact activity, training on trampolines at any time is a productive way to condition the various athletes. When using a rectangular shaped trampoline, the athletes not only can gain the highest bounce but also have control over their bouncing. This is ideal in that specific routines can be perfected as well as the necessary heights gained while continuing to be as safe as possible. Trampolines in the Olympics are rectangular in shape for just those reasons, but most specifically of all, the ability to control the bounce. Trampolines have gained quite a lot of ground in the worlds of backyard fun, exercise benefits and now even Olympic training grounds. Trampolines in the Olympics as a competitive sport has risen in the ranks and will likely be even more admired in years to come. The availability and popularity of at-home trampolines gives Olympic hopefuls a great start at early ages.
